Kievans will play in the Europa League in the fall
Defender of Kyiv Dynamo Alexander Tymchyk thanked the fans for their support in the Champions League qualification.
“Throughout the qualification, we felt your sincere support and faith in us. I want to say to all of you – thank you for this! I thank every fan in the stands and every viewer in front of the TV.”
“We are very sorry that we could not achieve the final goal, but next season we will be back to finish what we started. Now the Europa League awaits us and our goals remain the same – to make you proud.”
“Glory to Ukraine!” Tymchyk wrote on social media.
The capital club beat Partizan and Rangers in the Champions League group round qualifiers. However, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team lost to Salzburg in the playoffs in the qualification round and will play in the Europa League group stage in the fall.
