Alexandria beat Left Bank in the majority and took first place in the UPL

Alexandria won on her home field Left Bank in the match of the 7th round Ukrainian Premier League — 2:0.

At the end of the first half, the visitors were left with a man down – Daniil Sukhoruchko received a second yellow card. Ruslan Rotan’s charges took advantage of the numerical superiority and scored two goals after the break. Portuguese legionnaire Miguel Campos scored in the 53rd minute, and Artem Shabanov in the 67th.

Oleksandriya rose to first place in the UPL, one point ahead of Dynamo. The white-blues will play Rukh today (kick-off at 18:00). Left Bank remained in 11th place in the league table.

In the next round, Oleksandriya will play away against Kryvbas on September 28. Left Bank will host Dynamo on September 29.
