Buyalsky: I thank Yarmolenko, who let me take the penalty

The people of Kiev are single-handedly leading in the UPL

Midfielder of Kyiv Dynamo Vitaly Buyalsky commented on the victory over Krivbass (2:1) in the ninth round of the UPL.

“We started the match well. In the first half we achieved what we agreed on, scoring two goals. But before the break we conceded, and everyone who has ever played football understands perfectly well that if you concede in the first or last minutes, you lose confidence.”

“That’s what happened – we lost confidence somewhere, and in the second half it was no longer football, but confusion. But [сегодня] It was important to get three points first. Sometimes such matches happen and it is in such games that the team spirit is shown.”

“Yarmolenko told me to shoot. Usually he punches, but I thank him for letting me punch this time. It is noteworthy that while the referee was watching VAR, he twice thought about kicking to his left, but at the last moment he changed his mind. Now it will be a lesson for me that there is no need to change your primary opinion.”

Vitaly’s goal from the penalty spot helped the white-blues secure their seventh victory of the season. Alexander Shovkovsky’s team is the sole leader of the UPL with 22 points.

In the next round, Dynamo will play against Obolon on October 19.
