Ukrainians failed to reach the elite round of qualifying for the 2025 Women’s Futsal World Cup
Ukrainian women’s futsal team crushed Czech Republic (4:1) in qualifying for the 2025 World Cup.
By the 9th minute, the Ukrainians had already scored twice – Anastasia Klipachenko and Yulia Kostyuk scored a goal each.
In the period from the 24th to the 26th minutes, Ukraine scored twice again – Irina Dubitskaya and Daria Kovshik scored. The Czech Republic subsequently only had enough prestige to score.
Alas, this victory does not have decisive tournament significance for the Ukrainian women’s futsal team. Today France beat Northern Ireland (5:2) and it was they who won Group 3 with seven points. Only the group winner advances to the next elite round of qualifying. We would like to remind you that in this qualifying round, Ukraine previously defeated Northern Ireland (6:0) and lost to France (1:3).
The Philippines will host the first ever Women’s Futsal World Cup in 2025. The final round will include 16 teams.
