Brest won a victory over Prague Sparta in the away match of the 4th round Champions League – 2:1.
At the end of the first half, Edmilson Fernandes put Brest ahead. Towards the end of the match, the guests increased their lead thanks to an own goal by Kaan Kairinen.
In stoppage time, Victor Olatunji reduced Sparta’s lead in the score, but the home team couldn’t do more.
Brest has not yet lost in the Champions League and is in fourth place in the overall standings with 10 points. Sparta is in 25th position with 4 points, ahead of Shakhtar in terms of additional indicators.
In the next round, Brest will play away against Barcelona, and Sparta will host Atletico Madrid. Both matches are scheduled for November 26.
