Carlin team renamed Rodin Carlin

The British team Carlin, known for its many successes in the youth series, whose drivers will compete this year in five categories from Spanish F4 to Formula 2, will now be called Rodin Carlin.

This is due to the fact that Australian entrepreneur David Dicker became her new investor. His company Rodin Cars has acquired a majority stake in Carlin, and this investment will allow the team to strengthen its position in both sport and business. Trevor Carlin and his wife, Stephanie, will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team and no changes to her day-to-day operations are foreseen.

Last year Rodin Cars sponsored New Zealand drivers Louis Sharpe and Liam Lawson in F4 and F2 respectively; The positive results of this partnership inspired David Dicker to acquire a stake in the Carlin team to continue actively promoting his brand in international markets.

Based in New Zealand, Rodin Cars produces the curious Rodin FZED racing cars, reminiscent of previous generation Formula 1 vehicles, and the futuristic FZERO hypercars.

Trevor Carlin: “We are very excited about the start of a new era in our team’s history, which Rodin Carlin has become and will continue to race and fight for wins. David shares our vision for the future and the desire to win every championship we compete in, which is why I am delighted to have a partner like Rodin Cars.”
