McLaren driver Oscar Piastri became the winner of the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix sprint race.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen finished second and became a three-time world champion five stages before the end of the championship, another McLaren driver, Lando Norris, completed the leading trio.
The Qatar Grand Prix race will take place on Sunday.
