Carlos Sainz has few options left to continue his career next season. In fact, the Spanish driver chooses between two proposals: Sauber/Audi and Williams.
It is believed that Sauber/Audi has made a very generous financial offer to Carlos, but he is in no hurry to accept it as he doubts the project’s prospects. As for Williams, manager James Vowles immediately said in Montreal that he wants Sainz in the team, and now it is the driver’s turn.
Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport reports that Williams has offered Carlos a four-year contract with the possibility of early termination at the end of 2026 if the team’s results under the new regulations are not high enough, or if he receives an offer from one of the leading teams.
In fact, such an offer could indicate Williams’ confidence in his prospects. It remains to be seen what decision Carlos will make.
