It’s not nice not knowing what awaits me in the future, but I’ve been in this situation before. I’ve already lost my place in Formula 1 and it turns out that life outside Formula 1 is pretty good too. When I was younger I was very afraid of losing my job, but now I don’t think I need a contract.
I consider racing in Formula 1 a great privilege. I love driving these cars, I love racing in Formula 1, but now I’m more relaxed than before. I think all decisions will be made in the coming weeks. Let’s see how it all turns out.”
