The Sauber team has confirmed its driver line-up for next season – Nico Hulkenberg’s teammate in 2025 will be Gabriel Bortoleto. The twenty-year-old driver makes his Formula 1 debut and becomes the first Brazilian in the championship since 2020, in which Pietro Fittipaldi spent two rounds at the wheel of a Haas.
Gabriel Bortoleto: “I’m going to take part in one of the most exciting projects in motorsport, if not all of sports. I am honored to join Sauber and Audi, who have such a rich history. I don’t just want to be part of this ambitious project, I want to grow with it and reach the pinnacle of motorsport.
