Before “Severstal » Alexander Petunin accepted the offer of qualification from the club Cherepovets and signed a new two-year contract, reports the press service of the KHL.
During the 2022/2023 season, Petunin, 26, played 62 matches and scored 33 (19+14) points. He became Cherepovets’ top scorer in the playoffs, earning 7 (3+4) points in 7 games.
In total in the KHL, he has 285 games, 58 goals and 69 assists.
Also, the KHL press service reported that Metallurg Magnitogorsk signed a one-year bilateral contract with Kazakh striker Maxim Mukhametov.
