In the summer of 2022, the construction of a new ice rink in Strelka Nizhny Novgorod, located next to the Nizhny Novgorod football stadium, began. The new facility will include a hockey rink with grandstands for 12,000 spectators, a small rink for 200 people, universal sports and gymnasiums.

The estimated cost of building the new palace is 26 billion rubles.
