The Moscow attacker “Spartacus” Pavel Poriadin said he wasn’t thinking about a possible move to the NHL.
Spartak acquired Poryadin from Neftekhimik in May following a trade; the hockey player concluded a three-year agreement with the “red and white”. This season, the forward scored 49 points (23 goals and 26 assists) in 50 matches.
— You are 27 years old, your contract with Spartak is for three years. Can the problem with the NHL be considered resolved?
— Honestly, I don’t think about it now. Maybe I’ll regret later that when there were offers, I didn’t try. Somehow now I’m at Spartak and I’m enjoying it here.
— The goal is the Gagarin Cup?
– Appetite comes with eating. I think we have a great opportunity now. We have room to add, but we have a good team, I believe in the guys. If everyone believes in each other, everything will work out,” Poryadin said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Spartak is in third place in the KHL Western Conference standings, one point behind leader Lokomotiv.
