Athletistic / Hockey. The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Montreal Canadiens (7:4) last night in an NHL regular season away game. One of the main heroes of the meeting was Russian striker Nikita Kucherov.
Kucherov scored three effective actions during the meeting with Montreal – he scored one goal and became the author of two assists. This allowed the 30-year-old Russian to reach the milestone of 90 assists in one season. Nikita became the first Russian hockey player in the history of the NHL to achieve this result.
In the current regular NHL championship, Nikita Kucherov took part in 75 matches and scored 133 (43+90) points using the goal+pass system. In total, during his NHL career he has 719 games and 862 points – 319 goals and 543 assists. Kucherov is a two-time Stanley Cup winner with Tampa Bay.
