Last season, 25-year-old Konovalov played 42 matches for Dynamo in the Fonbet KHL championship, during which he won 21 victories with a reliability coefficient of 2.05 and 92.1% reflected shots. In 6 playoff games, the goalie allowed an average of 2.82 goals and stopped 88.3% of shots, winning two times.
Dynamo ended its performance in the Gagarin Cup in the second round, losing to Traktor Chelyabinsk (0-4). Previously, the club did not renew the contracts of striker Ilya Kablukov and defender Egor Martynov.
