Vladimir Tarasenko left the Ottawa Senators for Florida at the deadline and helped the Panthers win the club’s first Stanley Cup. The Russian earned his first NHL playoff victory in 2019 with the St. Louis Blues.
Earlier, media reported that the Pittsburgh Penguins were showing interest in Tarasenko. The Penguins are reportedly willing to offer the forward a 3-4 year contract with a salary of $4 million per season.
