Anastasia Markova became the strongest in the 200-meter butterfly at the Russian Swimming Championship, which is held as part of the second stage of the Friendship Games in Kazan.
She showed the time – 2 minutes 6.49 seconds. Anastasia Kolpakova (2:09.79) and Daria Lunina (2:10.99) finished second.
The Novosibirsk region swimming team won the women’s 4x50m medley relay. The team consisting of Arina Surkova, Vitalina Simonova, Anita Grishchenko and Daria Trofimova clocked 1 minute 46.63 seconds. The second place was taken by representatives of St. Petersburg, and the third – by Moscow.
Russian Danil Semyaninov won the competition in the 100 meters breaststroke (56.25 seconds), Belarusian Ilya Shimanovich became second (56.26), another Russian Kirill Prigoda finished third (56.54).
Belarusian Alina Zmushka was first in the 50m breaststroke (29.49), Russians Nika Godun (29.71) and Elena Bogomolova (29.80) finished next.
Ivan Girev won the 200m freestyle (1:42.83), Alexander Shchegolev was second (1:43.50) and Mikhail Vekovishchev (1:43.75) was third.
Swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov won the 100m backstroke with the best result of the season in the world. It showed the result of 48.82 seconds. The second in this discipline was Pavel Samusenko (50.01), the third – Evgeny Rylov (50.03).
At a similar distance in women, Maria Kameneva excelled – 56.23 seconds. Second place was taken by Anastasia Duplinskaya (57.97) and third by Daria Vaskina (58.48).
The Moscow team won the mixed 4x50m freestyle relay for athletes aged 2009 and older. The team consisting of Ilya Shevchenko, Vladislav Grinev, Rozalia Nasretdinova and Elizaveta Susorova clocked 1 minute 32.20 seconds. The second place went to the representatives of Tatarstan, the third place went to the team from Belarus.
