David Haye: I want to see Joshua vs White next

Anthony not ready for Fury yet, ex-boxer says

Former British heavyweight boxer David Haye believes that the ex-champion Anthony Joshua don’t fight the WBC champion Tyson Fury in the next fight.

“Next I want to see Joshua fight Dillian Whyte. This is not the kind of performance after which you can fight Tyson Fury. If Joshua came out and took out Jermain Franklin in a few rounds, fine. But in my opinion, Anthony needs to do better to get in the ring with Tyson.”

“I would love to see him against Dillian because we know what this fight is going to be like. It will be fiery. This is an elite fight. There will be a lot of pressure in him, because they can go ahead and hit. This will make everyone salivate. Then the winner of this fight can take a closer look at Fury. But Tyson is in any case aimed at the fight with Usyk. Or not? I don’t know”.

Recall that Joshua defeated Jermain Franklin via unanimous decision. All judges gave the victory to Joshua – 118-111 and twice 117-112. This is the first victory for Joshua after two defeats in a row to Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua’s promoter – Eddie Hearn said that Anthony would have his next fight in July or August. Possible opponent – Dillian Whyte. In turn, White has already announced his desire to fight Joshua.
