Figure skaters Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky will train in the group of Eteri Tutberidze, who has experience with pairs, according to a statement posted on the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) website.
On Saturday, Boykova announced on social media that she and Kozlovsky had left Tamara Moskvina’s band and would continue their career in Moscow with Tutberidze. “We decided to move on and try something new,” the athlete wrote.
– For Eteri Tutberidze, this is not the first experience of working with couples. A sports couple Evgeny Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov were preparing for the Beijing Olympics in the coach’s group. Experienced skaters won silver in individual competitions, the FFKKR said in a statement.
This season, Boikova and Kozlovsky have won the Russian Championship gold medal and two stages of the Russian Grand Prix. The athletes are champions and winners of the European Championships, bronze medalists of the World Championships and participants in the Olympic Games.
