The fight will take place on the evening of August 12 in London.
Former British World Champion Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) said he was going to knock out the Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius (32–4, 19 KOs) in their duel.
“I cannot fail. This is good pressure. Fight with all your might and win. There will always be comparisons with other opponents, but this is my fight with Helenius. Not a Wilder fight or anyone else. It’s just me and him.”
“Helenius has nothing to lose. It will be a good fight, but I want to beat him in the first round if I can. I need to knock him out. Helenius has to worry about me and I have to worry about myself,” Anthony said.
Previously, Joshua and Helenius were weighed in. The weight of the British was 113.4 kg, the Finnish boxer showed almost the same result – 113.13 kg.
Recall that the flagship fight of the evening of August 12 will be the fight between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius. The event will take place in London at the O2 Arena. The fight will be broadcast via PPV system by DAZN.
Helenius was called to the fight instead of Dillian Whyte, who failed a doping test. Helenius last entered the ring on August 5 this year and defeated compatriot Mika Mielonen. Last year, the Finnish boxer was knocked out in the first round by Deontay Wilder.
Joshua defeated American Jermain Franklin in his last fight in March. The fight lasted all 12 rounds.
