The French team does not count on the Ukrainian
Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky was out of order Marseille for the home match of the 1st round League 1 against Reims.
Malinowski is not included in the plans of the new head coach Marcelino Garcia Toral and was not previously included in the squad for the Champions League. Besiktas, Genoa, Bologna and Premier League clubs are interested in the services of the Ukrainian.
Malinovsky in January moved to Marseille from Atalanta on loan. In July, the French club activated the option to buy out the Ukrainian’s contract. Ruslan’s contract with Marseille is calculated until the summer of 2026.
Malinovsky played 23 matches for Olimpik in all competitions last season. The Ukrainian scored two goals in them and gave one assist.
The Marseille-Reims match will start at 18:00 Kyiv time. Recall that on August 9, Marcelino’s team lost to Panathinaikos (0:1) in the first match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
