Silver medalists of the Russian Figure Skating Championship Diane Davis And Gleb Smolkin who now performs under the flag of Georgia, became second in rhythm dance at the Ondrej Nepela memorial in Bratislava.
The duo received 77.62 points for their performance. The first place was taken by the British Laila Fir and Lewis Gibson (81.69), the third place by the American representatives Emilia Zingas and Vadim Kolesnik (75.61).
On Saturday, the skaters will perform a free dance.
In June it became known that Davis and Smolkin would represent the Georgian national team starting in the 2023/24 season. Davis is the daughter of Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze.
