Ukrainian national team crushed Serbia in the away match of the third round of the elite round of selection for World Cup 2024 – 6:1.
Alexander Kosenko’s team removed the question of the winner in the first half. Within nine minutes, four goals flew into the Serbian goal. The hosts were able to respond with a goal from Vasic.
After the break, the Ukrainians scored twice more. As a result, Daniil Abakshin and Nazar Shved scored doubles, and Evgeniy Zhuk and Igor Korsun scored one goal each.
The Ukrainian team scored six points and caught up with the leader of Group B, Poland. Serbia dropped to third place with four points.
