Bronze medalist of the European Championship Kristina Makarenko became the champion of Russia in the 60 meter indoor event.
Makarenko’s result is 7.13 seconds. Victoria Maksimova finished second (7.31), the representative of Belarus Yanina Lutsenko closed the top three (7.343). Among men, Konstantin Krylov became champion of Russia (6.56), Yaroslav Tkalich (6.61) took second place, and Danil Pavlov (6.69) finished third.
In the men’s triple jump, Belarusian Maxim Nesterenko took first place with a result of 16.87 meters. Dmitry Chizhikov (16.55) is in second place and Vitaly Pavlov (16.41) is third.
Among women, Alena Gordeeva (17.02 m) became the best in the shot put. Second place went to Ekaterina Burmistrova (16.98). Natalya Troneva is in third place (16.71).
In the men’s 3,000 meter race, Evgeniy Rybakov had the best result (8 minutes 2.63 seconds), followed by Anatoly Rybakov (8.2.73). In third place is Konstantin Plokhotnikov (8.2.86). Among women, Olga Vovk (8.59.31) became the first over this distance. Svetlana Aplashkina (8.59.74) is in second place. Lyubov Dubrovskaya finished third (9.01.01).
Belarusian Vitaly Parakhonko took first place in the 60 meter hurdles (7.62). In second and third place are Russians Matvey Gerasimov (7.65) and Konstantin Shabanov (7.75). Among women, the best in this discipline was the representative of Belarus, Elvira Graborenko (7.97). Russians Daria Osipova (8.09) and Victoria Pogrebnyak (8.16) finished next.
The Russian Indoor Championships will take place from February 23 to 25 in Moscow.
