Kabaev: I don’t remember that there were several alarms in a row, and the match could not continue for so long

The Kievans defeated Vorskla in the last round of the national championship

Midfielder of the capital Dynamo Vladislav Kabaev summed up the results of the meeting with Vorskla (5:1) in the 22nd round of the UPL. The player admitted that both teams were under pressure in the match due to the long pauses caused by the air raid raid in Ukraine.

“We were in the same conditions as the Poltava residents. I think it was hard for them too. It is important both physically and psychologically – even more. You leave the locker room, have already warmed up there – and again there is anxiety. Then we sat down, read the news, then went around in a circle again. Thankfully, it all ended like this.”

“We discussed it in the locker room – I don’t remember that there were several alarms in a row, and the match could not continue for so long. Although it was also quite long [тревога] in Uzhgorod, where we didn’t finish the game at all.”

“To be honest, the score is probably not according to the game. A more or less even game, but perhaps our class had a slight effect, as experts say. We converted our half-chances.”

“The emotions are positive. We win, we know what we are trying to achieve. In every game we need a result. The result today is positive, so the emotions are positive. Yes, we are tired emotionally and physically, but we have a few days to recover and play against Zorya.”

Dynamo is in fourth place in the UPL, having played 19 matches. On April 8, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will host LNZ. On April 4, the people of Kiev will play the match of the postponed 6th round of the Premier League against Zorya.
