The second row of the grid was formed by Lando Norris (McLaren) and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). Further in the top ten are Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), George Russell (Mercedes) and Yuki Tsunoda (RB).
Verstappen leads the individual World Championship standings, four points ahead of Leclerc. The Japanese Grand Prix will take place at the Suzuka Circuit on April 7. Starts at 8:00 Kyiv time.
