The Ukrainian U-17 national team has named its squad for sparring matches with Cyprus

The matches will take place on April 9 and 11

The composition has become known Ukrainian national team U-17 for test matches with peers from Cyprus before the final part of the European Championship 2024.

Both meetings will begin at 16:30 Kyiv time and will take place in Cyprus. Blue-yellow coach Yuri Moroz called 19 players to the training camp.


Goalkeepers: Alexander Kharechko (Rukh), Nazar Makarenko (SK Dnepr-1).

Defenders: Evgeniy Boyko, Demyan Tretyak (both Dynamo), Maxim Barshak (Rukh), Egor Dankovsky, Nikita Sheleketa (both Shakhtar), Kirill Digtyar (Metalist), Evgeniy Ryabokon (Slovacko, Czech Republic), Maxim Tsymbalyuk (Wisla, Poland).

Midfielders: Vladislav Tyutyunov, Evgeniy Garmash (both Shakhtar), Artem Ugrinchuk (Rukh), Bogdan Popov (Empoli, Italy).

Forwards: Ivan Andreyko (Dynamo), Nazar Bondar, Ivan Denisov (both Rukh), Nikita Krivtsov (Cologne, Germany), Dmitry Zudin (Hajduk, Croatia).


The blue and yellow made their way to the continental forum. With three victories, Moroz’s team won group 4 of the elite round of the Euro 2024 youth qualifying round. In the first match, the blue-yellows beat Greece (2:0), then defeated Switzerland (3:0) and Slovakia (3:0).

The calendar of the Ukrainian U-17 national team in the group round of the 2024 European Championship is already known. Yuri Moroz’s team will start the tournament with a match against Serbia on May 20. In the final round, the blue-yellows will play against the hosts of the competition, Cyprus.
