The Polish national team announced an expanded bid for Euro 2024

There are 29 players on the list

Poland national team published the team’s extended application for European Championship 2024. Head coach Michal Probierz announced the list of 29 players.

The team’s roster included Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior and Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski. Also on the list was former Ukrainian midfielder Taras Romanchuk, who now represents Jagiellonia.

Goalkeepers: Lukasz Skorupski (Bologna), Wojciech Szczesny (Juventus), Marcin Bulka (Nice), Oliver Zych (Pushcha Niepołomice)

Defenders: Jan Bednarek (Southampton)

Midfielders: Przemyslaw Frankowski (Lance), Jakub Moder (Brighton), Jakub Piotrowski (Ludogorets), Bartosz Slisz (Atlanta United), Damian Szymanski (AEK Athens), Sebastian Szymanski (Fenerbahce), Nikola Zalewski (Roma), Piotr Zielinski (Napoli), Kamil Grosicki (Pogon Szczecin), Taras Romanczuk (Jagiellonia Białystok), Kasper Urbanski (Bologna), Michal Skuras (Bruges)

Earlier it became known that Aston Villa and Poland national team defender Matty Cash would not play at Euro 2024 due to injury.

The Polish team at Euro 2024 will play in the group stage against the Netherlands, Austria and France.

On June 7, Poland will hold a sparring match with the Ukrainian team. The meeting will take place at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
