NAVI Junior will start qualifying on June 19
The main composition of the Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere failed to qualify for the main tournament of the year Dota 2 — The International 2024.
Today NAVI lost to 9Pandas in the semifinals of the lower bracket of the Eastern European qualification – 0:2. The winner of a ticket to TI 2024 will be determined in the confrontation between 1win and Yellow Submarine/9Pandas.
Note that NAVI Junior, the youth team of “Born to Win”, will play in closed qualifications in the Western Europe region. The selection will begin on June 19, in the first match NAVI Junior will meet Tundra Esports.
The last time NAVI played at TI was in 2019, finishing in 13-16th place. Let us remind you that the Ukrainian organization is the champion of the first ever The International draw, which took place in 2011.
A total of 16 teams will play at The International 2024. Six teams received direct invitations to the tournament: Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaming Gladiators and BetBoom Team.
Ten more participants will be determined based on the results of qualifications in six regions. Team Zero (China), G2 x iG (China), nouns (North America) have already passed the selection.
The International 2024 will take place in Copenhagen. TI starts on September 4 with group stage matches, the grand final is scheduled for September 15 at the Royal Arena in the capital of Denmark.
The current TI winner is Team Spirit, which defeated Gaimin Gladiators (3:0) in the grand finals.
