Former Russian high jumper Elena Kulichenko, who will be the flag bearer for the Cyprus team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, has an account on a well-known adult portal on which she has posted nude videos, eReportaz reports.
According to the source, the 21-year-old athlete refused the request of the Cypriot Olympic Committee to delete her account. Kulichenko’s lawyers said that these videos had nothing to do with the athlete and were created using artificial intelligence. At the same time, the athlete did not file a complaint with the police and did not take any steps to delete the page.
Kulichenko has represented Cyprus since 2021, a year later she entered the University of Georgia and left to train in the United States.
The Olympic Games in the French capital will be held from July 26 to August 11.
