Swimmer Shchurova wins silver in 50m backstroke at Paris Paralympic Games

Russian swimmer Zoya Shchurova won a silver medal in the 50m backstroke at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

In the final swim, Shchurova, competing in the S3 class, posted a result of 58.36 seconds. The victory was won by British Ellie Challis (53.56), the top three were closed by Spaniard Marta Fernandez Infante (1.00.46).

The Paralympic Games in the French capital will end on September 8.
