Oksana’s second medal at the Paris Games
Ukrainian Oksana Boturchuk won a silver medal in the 100m T12 class Paralympics 2024 in Paris.
Oksana, together with guide Nikita Barabanov, ran the distance in 12.17 seconds. The Ukrainian was second only to world record holder and multiple Paralympic champion Omara Duran Elias from Cuba.
Boturchuk won her second medal at the Paris Games. Earlier, the Ukrainian won bronze in the 400-meter run in the T12 class.
The blue-yellows have 59 medals at the 2024 Paralympics, including 15 gold, 19 silver and 25 bronze. Ukraine is in seventh place in the unofficial medal standings.
The 2024 Paralympics are taking place in Paris from August 28 to September 8. The Ukrainian team is represented at the Games by 140 athletes. Ukrainians are competing in 17 of the 22 Paralympic sports – a record in the history of our country.
