Athletistic/ Figure skating. Tatiana Tarasova, Honored Figure Skating Coach of the USSR, noted that Rafael Harutyunyan is a world-class specialist and will help Sofya Samodelkina, representing Kazakhstan, reach a new level.
Earlier, media reported that Samodelkina would go to the United States in October for a training camp with Harutyunyan. The Russian changed her sports citizenship in August 2023.
“Rafael Harutyunyan is, of course, a world-class coach, one of the most outstanding specialists who trained with him. So I think he will help Sofya Samodelkina. He is a real coach with vast experience,” Tarasova told RIA Novosti.
