Viktor Fesechko worked in two conflicts between Ukrainian and British.
Ukrainian judge Viktor Fesechko says Anthony Joshua’s team tried to get him fired from refereeing a rematch with WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
According to the specialist, he was allowed by an independent commission, because he worked perfectly in the first match.
“They applied. They submitted an application for the first and second fights, and they are already considering them. About two or three or four people submitted, and they are choosing, considering. In principle, I thought that I might not get in the second fight. Team Joshua filed a protest to have me suspended. Usually all independent judges or representatives of one country, another country and neutral.”

“I don’t know why Joshua’s team wants to remove me. The fact is that in the first fight, independent judges considered how he judged, right or wrong, but everything came together. That’s why I also allowed to rematch,” Fesechko said in an interview on the YouTube channel Viktor Yalymov Boxing Studio.
It was previously reported that Usyk expressed his willingness to help Joshua after the rematch.
