Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Olympic single skating champion Anna Shcherbakova took to the ice for the first time after undergoing knee surgery in August.
In one of the social networks, Shcherbakova posted photos and videos taken at the Khrustalny Ice Palace.
“Went home,” Shcherbakova wrote below the English post. In the photo, Anna takes a selfie against the backdrop of the rink; in the video, footage of the figure skater is captured in frame as he skates.
Fans of the athlete did not leave the message without enthusiastic comments. “Welcome! Productive training!”, “Our best”, “Cheers! Happy discoveries and fruitful training!” – among other things, the skater’s subscribers wrote.
Despite returning to training, Shcherbakova will not take part in the Russian national team’s trial skates, which will be held on September 24-25 at the Megasport Palace of Sports in Moscow.
