The organizers of the Silk Way International Rally have presented the route for the 2023 race.
The administrative and technical checks of the participants in the race are scheduled for July 5 and 6 in Kazan. The solemn start of the race will take place in the capital of Tatarstan on the Millennium Square near the walls of the Kazan Kremlin on July 6.
The first stage of the “Silk Road” will be along the Kazan – Ufa route (July 7), the second stage – Ufa – Magnitogorsk (July 8), the third stage in Magnitogorsk will be a ring (July 9) , the fourth stage – Magnitogorsk – Orenburg (July 10), fifth stage – Orenburg – Samara (July 11), sixth stage – Samara – Saratov (July 12), seventh stage – Saratov – Volgograd (July 13), eighth stage – Volgograd – Lipetsk (July 14). The ninth final stage on the Lipetsk – Moscow route will take place on July 15, on the same day there will be a solemn arrival for all participants in the race and a prize-giving ceremony for the winners and winners of the rally.
The total distance of the 2023 Silk Way Rally will be 5,230 kilometers, of which 2,350 kilometers will be high-speed special stages.
Racers will compete in five categories: Motorcycles, ATVs, ATVs, SUVs and Trucks. In addition, for the second year in a row, the Silk Way Rally will host competitions for amateur crews – they will compete in a separate category, Grand Tour.
