Father and son killed in Isle of Man TT race, this year’s track has already claimed five lives

British motorcycle racers Roger Stockton and his son Bradley have died in a crash during the Isle of Man TT race on Britain’s Isle of Man, organizers have announced.

Roger, 56, was a sidecar racer and Bradley, 21, got his start as a sidecar racer. On Monday, in the first race, the Stocktons finished in 8th place.

This brings the number of riders who died in the Isle of Man TT series in 2022 to five. Earlier the crash claimed the life of 29-year-old Mark Purslow, two days later Frenchman Cesar Chanel s crashed (earlier it was erroneously reported that his sidecar partner Olivier Laporel died), and on June 7, 52-year-old Davy Morgan died of injuries.

Since 1907, more than 250 people have died here from the race on the Isle of Man.
