Russian racing driver Tatyana Eliseeva told that she suffered fractures as a result of the accident and that the question of returning to driving depends on rehabilitation.
An accident involving Eliseeva occurred on Friday during a performance in the SMP Russian circuit racing series in Kazan. Along with Eliseeva, pilot Mikhail Dralin was injured in a road accident. Both athletes were sent to hospital.
– How do you feel?
— Normal, except fractures (smiles). Now I am in a hospital in Kazan, this week they should organize transportation to Moscow for further treatment and rehabilitation.
I would like to thank the race organizers for immediately taking me to the hospital after the accident. I have undergone drainage and am under the close supervision of doctors.
— When will you get back behind the wheel?
“I will try as soon as possible, but not everything depends on my desire,” Eliseeva told .
