Frenchwoman Garcia beat Gauff
The first racket of the world Iga Schwentek started on Final WTA Tournament with a confident victory over Daria Kasatkina.
Schwentek took three submissions of her opponent, without losing any of her own. Shventek defeated Kasatkina for the fifth time in a row this season and again did not give her more than five games per match.
For the Polish tennis player, this is the second victory in the fourth game of the WTA Finals in her career. Last year, Schwentek failed to qualify from the group.
Second match of the day Carolyn Garcia beat in two sets Corey Gauff. In the first set, the Frenchwoman made a break with the score 5:4. And in the second, Garcia took two serves Gauff and confidently brought the match to victory.
