Famous Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky thinks Russian Andrey Rublev did well at the Australian Open despite losing to Serbian Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals.
The meeting between Rublev and Djokovic lasted 2 hours and 5 minutes and ended in victory for the Serbs with the score 3:0 (6:1, 6:2, 6:4).
– I think Andrei showed a very good performance, we have to give him credit. The previous match showed it. Yes, it was tough today with Djokovic, very tough, and Novak is playing with confidence. You can’t go wrong with him, but today didn’t work out at all. He showed a very good result at this Australian Open,” Olkhovsky told Vprognoze.ru.
In the semi-finals of the tournament, Djokovic will play with American Tommy Paul.
