Dayana confidently defeated the titled Italian Errani
Ukrainian tennis players Katarina Zawatskaya And Dayana Yastremskaya went to second round of WTA 1000 tournament qualification in Dubai (UAE).
Zavatskaya defeated American Madison Brengle in three sets. Today’s win was Katarina’s first over a top 100 opponent since last April.
Yastremskaya confidently passed the Italian Sarah Errani in two sets. Dayana won the fifth match this season. The Ukrainian plays for the fourth time at the tournament in Dubai. Last year, Yastremskaya reached the quarterfinals of the main draw.
For access to the main draw, Zavatskaya will fight with the Romanian Stefania Bozica. And Yastremskaya in the final of the selection will meet with the winner of the match Lauren Davis – Anna Danilina.
