Gracheva in straight sets in 1 hour and 40 minutes defeated Germany’s Anna-Lena Friedsam. The 19-year-old Schneider has already confidently faced United States Representative Alicia Parks.
In the second round, Schneider will play her compatriot Veronika Kudermetova, who received the 5th seed from the organizers. Gracheva will meet Polish tournament No. 8 Magda Lynette.
