Mirra Andreeva rose to 23rd place in the WTA rankings

Russian Mirra Andreeva rose from 38th to 23rd place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.

Thanks to reaching the semi-finals of Roland Garros, Mirra Andreeva climbed 15 positions and became the fourth racket in Russia.

Russia’s first racket remains Daria Kasatkina, who moves from 13th to 14th place. The second Russian racket is Lyudmila Samsonova (15 years old), followed by another Russian, Ekaterina Alexandrova (16 years old).

Arina Sabalenka from Belarus moved from 2nd to 3rd place, American Cori Gauff moved from 3rd to 2nd place. The Polish Iga Szwiatek remains leader of the ranking.
