Yakimushkin took sixth place in the sprint semis, losing to the race leader Alexander Terentiev 57.54 seconds due to a fall, thus missing the final of the race.

– The track is quite loose, but it happens in good weather. The ski slid more to the right than expected, hit him with a stick and it turned out to be a fall. There was no confrontation there.

– Some difficulties due to the fact that the track is soft in good weather, in some places the skis break.
