In February, Belarusian athletes took part in the All-Russian Spartakiad of the strongest winter sports.
— In just two years, we have organized more than 1,200 events in 46 sports. Including the II All-Russian Spartakiad of the strongest winter sports.
Taking into account the accumulated experience, we are ready to organize the Spartakiad of the strongest athletes of Russia and Belarus in winter and summer sports.
And in July, in Brest, for the first time, an athletics match will be held between the teams of the Union State, dedicated to the feat of Soviet soldiers who liberated Belarus from the Nazi invaders. We also expect the Union State Field Hockey Cup to be held next year in Russia.
Today we decided to hold the next meeting of the boards of our departments in Khabarovsk. We will determine the date based on our schedules with the minister. At the meeting, we plan to sign plans for sports and physical education events, as well as approve a plan for cooperation in the field of sports sciences.
As for the BRICS Games, Belarus will be the most representative delegation. More than 680 people will come to Kazan, – Degtyarev wrote on the Telegram channel .
The BRICS Games will be held in Kazan from June 12 to 23. Around five thousand athletes from more than 60 countries will compete for 392 sets of medals in 29 sports.
