Arabella Del Busso's Weigh-In Outfit Sparks Backlash

Former NRL WAG Arabella Del Busso has sparked outrage after wearing a revealing outfit at a Misfits Boxing weigh-in, dividing fight fans online.

Del Busso, who now boxes under the name 'Little Bellsy', became one of the biggest talking points at the official weigh-in ahead of Saturday night's Beauty vs The Beast event in Manchester, headlined by Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall.

The former partner of ex-NRL star Josh Reynolds arrived in a silver rhinestone outfit that exposed her breasts, with only pasties covering her, immediately sparking debate among boxing fans online. She posed on stage as cameras rolled, with footage later shared by DAZN Boxing to its social media channels.

Alongside the video, DAZN Boxing wrote: "That's a weigh in outfit right there." The post generated thousands of reactions, with some fans praising Del Busso's confidence and others questioning whether influencer boxing had drifted too far from the sport's traditional roots.

Support and backlash online

Australian professional boxer Desley Robinson was among those offering support, commenting "queen vibes @littlebellsy." Other supporters wrote "Yesssss sis" and "@littlebellsy get it QUEEN."

But the outfit also triggered criticism. One commenter asked, "Is this boxing or porn?" Another wrote, "yall know children come to these," while a third said, "Come on @daznboxing You can do better."

'What is happening to boxing?'

One fan wrote, "WTF IS HAPPENING TO BOXING? This used to be a sport of discipline, respect and class." Another simply wrote, "What has the world come to."

The strongest criticism came from a commenter who argued the debate was not about gender equality. "This isn't about equality, it's about common sense and modesty. A man being shirtless at a weigh-in is not the same as a woman exposing her breasts in front of a public crowd, cameras, and possibly kids," they wrote, adding that "Equality doesn't mean ignoring basic decency."

Del Busso ensured she entered fight night as one of the most discussed names on the Manchester card

Others accused influencer boxing of turning the sport into entertainment. "It's not for attention... it's 'for herself' why is boxing turning into porn nowadays?" one person wrote. Another added, "Boxing been abused for years now, clowns making a mockery of our sport most of us have stuck years and years of blood sweat and tears in to!"

Del Busso's controversial history

Del Busso, born Donna Preusker, first rose to national prominence through her relationship with Reynolds. She later became the focus of a major scandal involving fake pregnancy claims that was investigated by 60 Minutes, and appeared on SAS Australia.

She served five months in prison in 2024 after being convicted of stealing more than $52,000 from her employer while working as a medical receptionist. Since her release, she has attempted to reinvent herself through influencer boxing and has become a regular figure on the Misfits Boxing circuit under the Little Bellsy name.
