Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given a glowing assessment of new signing Christos Tzolis, predicting that the Greek winger will swiftly earn the affection of everyone at the club.

Tzolis, 24, joined Arsenal from Club Brugge for 40 million euros and has been with the squad for several days. Arteta addressed the transfer while also paying tribute to the player the Greek international has been brought in to succeed.
The Arsenal manager said he wanted to use the occasion to thank Leandro Trossard for what he described as an incredible shared journey, the moments they experienced together, and a contribution to the team and the club that he called exceptional. Trossard, he added, was a player truly difficult to replace.
Despite that, Arteta said he believed Arsenal had found in Tzolis a talent, a footballer and a personality who would make everyone fall in love with him very quickly.
