Barcelona has cancelled a pre-season friendly match in Morocco scheduled for August 15 due to security concerns over the ongoing border crisis in Ceuta.
The Spanish champions were due to face local side Ittihad Riadi Tangier in northwestern Morocco. However, safety issues forced the club to call off the fixture.
In an official statement, the team stated that due to current uncertainty and conditions, Barcelona considers holding the match to be inappropriate.
