Boston guard Jaylen Brown was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the latest National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff series.
In the fifth game of the series, the Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks at home with a score of 106:88 and won the championship title for the first time since 2008. Brown scored 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists in this match. In total, the defender appeared in 18 playoff games this season, averaging 24.1 points and 5.8 rebounds.
Boston won the trophy for a record eighteenth time, and the Los Angeles Lakers became NBA champions 17 times.
