Yuri Lapikus, a professional MMA fighter, has died aged 27 after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Italy.
Lapicus participated in the promotion of the ONE championship.

The Italian edition of Milano Today reported that the fighter was in a coma after crashing his motorbike into a car in Milan and was taken to hospital by helicopter.
Lapicus, who was born in Moldova and lived in Italy, lost to Christian Lee in the 2020 ONE Championship welterweight title fight by first-round technical knockout. In total, the fighter has 14 wins with two losses.
